Alexander Parsons has been nomination for a Sound and Music Award. Due to his score for “Grayson Perry: Rites of Passage.” in the Best Original Composition in a Television Programme category. Winners will be announced on the 16th July 2019, via the Twitter feed, website and industry press. The Music and Sound Awards are the world’s first and only global awards programme that recognise the contribution of both music and sound. Importantly, celebrating the outstanding and indispensable role music and design play in the media.

As well as being nominated for this music award, Alex’s also worked on two BAFTA nominated shows this year. “Stephen: The Murder that Changed a Nation” and “Grayson Perry: Rites of Passage”. And, if that wasn’t enough, Alex has composed this epic score for the spectacular new BBC Two series ‘Forensics: The Real CSI.’.

Alex has also been scoring and recording for an upcoming feature film which we aren’t allowed to talk about yet. Shhhh!
