Composer, producer and Rattle member Eraldo Bernocchi has been extremely busy on a whole assortment of exciting projects.

Firstly, we’re super chuffed for Eraldo, as he has scored the entire soundtrack for a Good Fay Films and Sky HD production. It will be the first ever film based on the life of the legendary painter Cy Twombly. If you want to have a listen right this second then you’re in luck, as the soundtrack is already out  on RareNoise Records. The official press presentations start on October 4th at The National Portrait Gallery, London, and October 18th at Louvre in Paris.

Eraldo has also been working with Gary Mundy (Ramleh/Kleistwahr) in the studio creating music for a new guitar oriented duo. “It’s a wall of emotional sounds. We have more than  4 hours of material to condense in less than 45 minutes as we are aiming to a vinyl release”

He’s also recorded an album with Ken Ikeda, the Japanese master of FM synthesis. A single release is underway with Leon Switch from Kryptic Minds. A new duo with electronics wonder Nadia Struiwigh is due to come out on Denovali in 2020.

The list goes on as he designed two patches packs or the Elektron Digitone synth, Hidden and Revealed – You can find them here. Conceived as an imaginary soundtrack for a non existent noir movie, Eraldo and Gareth Davis  guitar and bass clarinet album is complete, the release date is, however, still TBC.

There is a whole load of other exciting projects under way, but we’ll save that for the next post! Be sure to expect much much more from Eraldo in the future.
